Master Plumber (Growth & Leadership Opportunity)
Location: Greenwood Village, CO
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $100,000–$150,000 base salary
Additional Compensation: Quarterly Bonuses + Profit Sharing
About the Opportunity
SUPERIOR SKILLED TRADES is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing commercial services company in Greenwood Village, CO. This company has been in business for approximately one year and specializes in water backflow and fire system certification, inspections, maintenance, and installations, helping commercial clients maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
This is a key leadership hire for a startup organization that is scaling quickly and building its long-term management team.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Master Plumber with strong commercial experience who is looking for more than a field role. This position offers a unique opportunity to help grow a company from the ground up , take ownership of plumbing operations, and move into senior leadership and executive-level responsibilities over time.
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, hands-on, and motivated by performance-based rewards tied directly to company growth.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee plumbing operations across commercial projects
• Perform and supervise installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of backflow prevention systems
• Support construction projects and new system installations as needed
• Assist with fire system installations, inspections, certifications, and emergency repairs
• Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal plumbing and fire codes
• Act as the licensed authority for plumbing approvals and oversight
• Develop and improve operational processes as the company scales
• Mentor, train, and help build a high-performing technician team
• Communicate directly with clients regarding compliance, system performance, and recommendations
• Maintain accurate documentation, inspection reports, and certifications
• Partner with ownership on growth strategy, staffing, and operational planning

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Master Plumber license (required)
• Strong commercial plumbing experience (required)
• 5+ years of plumbing experience with increasing responsibility
• Knowledge of backflow prevention systems and regulatory compliance
• Leadership mindset with interest in long-term company growth
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

• Construction and new installation experience
• Backflow certification or willingness to obtain
• Fire Protection System Experience
• Experience in startup or small-business environments
• Desire to grow into a senior leadership or executive role
