We are seeking a motivated Multi-Media Consultant to facilitate the growth of local businesses
through our comprehensive suite of print and digital advertising solutions. The successful
candidate will be responsible for prospecting new clients, cultivating professional relationships,
developing strategic marketing plans, and securing new business. This role involves close
collaboration with internal teams to ensure exceptional client outcomes. The Victoria Advocate
provides trusted local journalism to the Crossroads region.
Key Responsibilities
Drive and expand revenue across our print publications, and digital platforms.
Engage in prospecting activities, including cold and warm outreach, to schedule and
conduct client appointments, present proposals, and close sales.
Effectively manage a sales pipeline to achieve weekly activity metrics and monthly
revenue targets.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the successful launch and optimization
of advertising campaigns.
Serve as a professional representative of our brand at community functions and client-
facing events.
Qualifications
A minimum of two years of experience in a sales role is preferred; however, candidates
demonstrating a strong drive and aptitude for media sales will be considered.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently engage
business owners.
Demonstrated organizational skills, a goal-oriented mindset, and a proactive approach
with consistent follow-through.
Basic proficiency in Google Workspace and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
software.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for local client
appointments.
