*Driver Responsibilities:*
As a *CDL-A OTR Truck Driver* with Killpack Trucking, Inc., your responsibilities will include:
* Safely operating a *Class A commercial vehicle* for *long-haul freight transport* and *load delivery*.
* Performing thorough *pre-trip inspections* and *post-trip inspections* in accordance with *DOT regulations* and *Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)*.
* Ensuring proper *cargo securement*, adherence to *weight limits* and *axle weights*, and secure *freight hauling*.
* Adhering to all traffic laws, *safety protocols*, and *federal and state compliance* guidelines, including *Hours of Service (HOS)* regulations and maintaining accurate *HOS logs* via *Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)*.
* Maintaining accurate *delivery documentation*, such as manifests and Bills of Lading, ensuring smooth *load delivery*.
* Communicating effectively via *driver communication systems* with dispatch, *logistics operations* teams, and providing excellent *customer service* at delivery points.
* Adhering to strict *delivery schedules* and ensuring *on-time delivery* performance.
* Ensuring the cleanliness and basic upkeep of your assigned truck, contributing to *vehicle maintenance* and *fuel efficiency*.
* Participate in *driver performance monitoring* and uphold our commitment to excellence.
*Requirements:*
We are seeking experienced and professional *CDL-A Truck Drivers* who meet the following qualifications:
* *CDL License:* Valid *CDL Class A* commercial driver’s license *(REQUIRED)*.
* *Driving Record:* Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) *(REQUIRED)*.
* *Experience:* *Minimum 3+ years of verifiable Over-the-Road (OTR) driving experience (REQUIRED)* in *freight hauling* or *long-haul trucking*.
* *Age:* Must be 21+ years old.
* *DOT Compliance:* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and *DOT physical* *(REQUIRED)*.
* *Safety Mindset:* A strong commitment to *safety standards* and adherence to all *traffic laws* and *DOT regulations*, including *HOS compliance* and *roadside assistance coordination*.
* *Reliability:* Proven record of punctuality and reliability in meeting *delivery schedules* and *operational demands*.
* *Communication:* Strong verbal communication skills for effective dispatch communication and *customer interaction*.
* *Physical Fitness:* Physically fit and capable of performing the *physical demands* associated with *commercial truck driving* and *cargo handling*.
