Are you an outgoing and enthusiastic individual who loves working with children and creating memorable experiences? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! FUNBOX, Arcadia, a vibrant indoor bounce house facility, seeks a dynamic and energetic Party Host to join our team. As a Party Host, you will be responsible for hosting birthday parties and ensuring a fun, safe, and unforgettable experience for kids and their parents.

Responsibilities:

• Host and coordinate birthday parties, ensuring all activities run smoothly and according to the party schedule.
• Interact with children, engaging them in games, activities, and bouncing fun.
• Set up and decorated party rooms according to the chosen theme and maintained cleanliness throughout the event.
• Provide exceptional customer service to parents and guests, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
• Operate the cash register accurately, handling payments and providing receipts when necessary.
• Assist with party check-ins, verifying waivers, and handing out wristbands and grip socks.
• Maintain a safe environment, being alert and aware of surroundings, especially when working inside the bounce house area.
• Collaborate with other staff members to address any customer concerns or questions promptly and professionally.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on safety protocols and party hosting techniques.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service and cashier roles, preferably in a child-friendly environment.
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours daily and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children, parents, and guests of all ages.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to ensure smooth party operations.
• Ability to keep a clean and orderly work area, including party rooms and common areas.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in hosting or entertaining children, such as working as a camp counselor or party entertainer.
• Knowledge of popular party games, activities, and age-appropriate entertainment.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and the ability to respond appropriately in emergencies.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash register operation.
