Job Description

Job Type: Full-Time Pay: From $20.00+ per hour, depending on experience Location: One work location Union: Union #853 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel & Miscellaneous Fabrication Fitter to join our team in an AISC-certified shop. This position is ideal for a skilled professional who is proficient in all aspects of layout, fit-up, and fabrication work. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of producing high-quality work that meets industry and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

Perform accurate layouts using blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
Fit and fabricate structural steel and miscellaneous metal components
Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols
Measure, cut, drill, grind, and assemble steel components
Ensure proper fit-up prior to welding or final assembly
Maintain quality standards in accordance with AISC requirements
Operate fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Follow all shop safety procedures and company policies
Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of fabrication experience required
Strong experience with structural steel and miscellaneous fabrication
Proficient in layout, fit-up, and fabrication processes
Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Schedule Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts Overtime available Saturday availability required as needed Benefits
